the purple toe is broken

Last night I fell down the stairs, and because I was carrying my son’s telescope, I couldn’t catch myself.
The telescope is doing fine.
UPDATE: I had an x-ray done, and it is definitely broken.
As broken bones go, the middle toe is probably the best one to break. And I’ve gone my whole life without a broken bone, so I suppose I’ve had it easy all along.
